Ewa Misztal has a status of doctor's report hearing scheduled this morning in Courtroom 2. Continued until September 27 at 8:30 a.m. since Dr. Chamberlain, who is from the Bay area, will be here September 14-17.
At the last court hearing, Misztal entered her additional plea of not guilty by insanity. Two doctors, Dr. Soper and Dr. Chamberlain, were appointed to evaluate her. The prosecution reserved the right to request a third doctor, if neccesary.
Deputy District Attorney Carolyn Schaffer is prosecuting the case. Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo is representing Misztal.
