CHP Crescent City CHP posted this today.
"Late Saturday morning, Crescent City CHP Officer contacted and arrested a driver operating a GIO enclosed mobility scooter while under the influence. Driving under the influence is dangerous regardless of the type of vehicle and puts everyone on our roadways at risk.
It doesn’t matter what you’re driving—a car, truck, motorcycle, or even a scooter. If you’re impaired and choose to drive, we will take enforcement action."
