Peter Martin suing the City of Eureka, what a surprise, NOT.

What a shocker! NOT! Peter Martin is suing the City of Eureka , this time, just one problematic issue  but most is constitutional, according to a LOCO post.

I guess my press release must have got lost in cyber mail chaos.

As I asked before, does Peter Martin actually have clients other than those he "represents" on these lawsuits against the government.

Does Peter do these pro bono since you know they are all about civil rights. Funny, I don't see his name ever brought up when private attorneys are appointed insteadbof public defenders.

Another LOCO post, looks like more commenters agree with me.

  1. Um...Peter Martin practices civil law...not criminal law (generally) so THAT is why you don't hear public defenders (who only practice CRIMINAL law) request Peter Martin be appointed....If you really want to cover court proceedings with any credibility Mr. Chiv you may consider taking a basic class on law that will cover the various distinctions between Civil, Criminal, Juvenile, law, etc.

  2. Since you are so knowledgeable about Peter Martin, I see you did not answer whether he takes these cases pro bono. So what if he practices civil law,he is a lawyer, isn't he? Some criminal cases also have civil cases for the same defendant. I don't need to prove my credibility to you, it is obvious from my coverage that I have more than a basic knowledge of the law. I use my name, why dont you, or say it to my face? You have yet to leave a civil comment on anything I say. You work on your bias and condescending attitude, I am just fine with my credentials on journalism or the law and I only care about opinions from those who are respected. You can rant about your proggie heroes Martin, Salzman et Al. Won't change the fact that they are incapable of making a living through any skill, instead of burdening taxpayers.

  3. Martin is handling the case of the former sports information director who sued HSU. Today's news (via Mad River Union) is they're near reaching a settlement. It's a shame. I'd have liked to see what hit the fan with that one. The allegations were jaw-dropping.
