The afternoon session for the Humboldt County Board of Supervisors starting at 1:30 p.m.
Standing room only. Overflow crowd has option to go to Eureka City Hall to watch the afternoon session.
First item is the Medical Marijuana Land Use Ordinance (MMLUO) which would allow Commercial Cultivation, Processing, Manufacturing and Distribution of Cannabis for Medical Use.
Today, if the Board wants to adopt ordinance, only typographical errors can be made said Deputy County Counsel Natalie Duke.
This was in response to concerns by Supervisors about a sentence, "No expansion of the existing cultivation shall be permitted." Planning Building Rob Wall said he will have a document signed clarifying that as Director he has authority to allow expansion on AE and AG land.
Second item is an update on the Homeless Strategy and Implementation Plan from Focus Strategies, City of Eureka and the Department of Health and Human Services
