I made it to the courtroom just as the next court date of March 18 was being called and to see that DA Maggie Fleming was prosecuting the case. The jury trial is expected to last 3 months, not 6 months as previously stated in court and reported on this blog.
There were two cases on today's court calendar for Warren. Only one is going to jury trial. "The other will continue to trail" the case on trial. Mr. kevin Robinson is representing Warren on the case discussed today going to trial and Mr. Glenn Brown on another case.
Ryan Burns, Will Houston and I were in Courtroom 1 covering Bullock. Today, TS was able to send another reporter to cover the Warren case.
According to the Times-Standard article today, the death penalty is not being sought in this case; instead life without parole.
