Chrisjenna aka "Jenna" Moore, since you like to talk smack about others and don't understand the difference between allegations, evidence, the law, is this 2024 DUI arrest by CHP you?

Is this you Chrisjenna? Came up as I searched your name in Humboldt County. I also got a tip you were arrested in 2024 for a DUI. Charges were not filed for the DUI unless it is one of the three access denied listings.

I did check out your Humboldt Superior Court record and other cases which are posted below in a screenshot.

You are mad because you lost to Shannon Miranda in court. Oh, your cohort, Jennifer Raymond, who I spoke with and whose unsubstantiated allegations I chose not to include in my April 28 post told me she was humiliated that day I watched you fail in court when Ms. Allison Jackson questioned you and I watched Humboldt Superior Court Commissioner Sarah Kaber address you.

The echo bubble of those of you who have a vendetta against Shannon Miranda for years throwing out the same allegations and failing are now targeting me because I won't do your bidding?

Anyone can talk smack and make claims. HCSO did not arrest Shannon Miranda, the investigation is ongoing.

Are all these aliases you? Are you connected to Briyan Marquardt? Would give you further reason to be angry at me?

Why do some of you and your cohorts have multiple FB accounts and not even under your real name. Since my post on Shannon Miranda, multiple accounts after I block someone are posting with unfounfed allegations.

Not only is this hampering my ability to rest and work; I cannot post on other cases. That is the intent of those who do not want this covered and the nasty way Humboldt operates.

You can run to any other media source. Now that HCSO is investigating, I will report on that investigation. If charges are filed, I will report on those and then any court process.

Most in Humboldt who talk smack about me have an agenda, a bias. Many in Humboldt who smear me either have a criminal background, arrests or have been exposed and are vindictive. A lot of people in Humboldt, especially on Facebook, have no clue about the law, First Amendment but a lot of time to waste. How are people making a living? Many in Humboldt are on the dole, subsidized, have an inheritance and instead of lifting people and this community out of poverty or doing good with their money chose to viciously destroy reputations and target others. Including me.

You do realize in a small County, others know valid information about you and others. Chrisjenna, I have court records, a jail log. What do you have? Besides a big mouth and no life to obsess about Shannon or me or whoever gives your 15 seconds of desperate attention.

There is a case management conference in the lawsuit filed by Chrisjenna Moore against Ford Motor Company on 8/10/26. She has an acquital in the CHP 2025 traffic case. Her petition for a restraining order against James Oxborrow was granted by Humboldt which was granted by Humboldt Superior Court Commissioner Sarah Kaber. Her case against Safeco was dismissed. She has a conviction in a 2024 CHP traffic case.

I have already covered her petition against restraining order which was denied by Humboldt Commissioner Sarah Kaber. I provided the screenshot of my January 2025 post above and you can look it up in Google or access it through the search feature on my blog.

**Some of these documents uploaded in reverse order. It is a technical glitch that needs to be fixed by blogspot. I am too busy and since I posted on Chrisjenna Moore inundated with messages of Fortuna drama and specifically about Chrisjenna Moore; some I chose not to publish because they are not news or relevant to the Miranda Rescue investigation. Unless they become pertinent in the future.

Part of the daily public service I provide to inform the community. You are welcome Chrisjenna. You apparently can't stay away from my blog and page or talking about me. Is the other local media and your life so boring? Does it not satisfy your need for constant attention?

Another lawsuit involving Chrisjenna Moore and Humboldt Superior Court. I will add more information when I have time.

It is my blog, my Facebook and my rules which protect me. I do not allow content that does not meet legal standards. You can post whatever you want on my page but then you can face any potential legal consequences.

Before social media, people had to submit a letter in the mail with a real name, a phone number to verify. Due to the Humboldt misuse of comments, due to people breaking rules explained many times, if online comments have to be restricted for a while, then they will be.

People are free to post on their own page and face legal consequences and take responsibility on their own page. This is my page. People are not allowed to be abusive, misuse and waste my time. People who shut down and try and silence others don't get to scream censorship and play the victim.

Humboldt toxics, on a daily basis are costing me money as well as other costs that readers who are decent know. Thank you to those people who speak up for me, share my posts. If Yabut, Mis,Corabelle want to email me. I will give you the benefits of a mini subscription free for three months.

Besides Miranda's rescue, HCSO busy with homicide in Hoopa this morning

HCSO has been busy with a homicide in Hoopa this morning.

HCSO Lt. Jesse Taylor will issue a press release.

On Facebook, HCSO posted, "Deputies are on scene in the 2700 block of Pine Creek Road in Hoopa investigating a homicide. The Major Crimes Division has taken over the investigation, and a suspect is detained and being questioned on scene. There are no outstanding suspects, and there is no threat to the community at this time."

HCSO at Shannon Miranda's right now; again

5/2/26 9:06 a.m.: HCSO Lt. Jesse Taylor just checked in with me about the Miranda Rescue investigation. I asked one question, not sure he can answer. Lt. Taylor did. "Yes, I can confirm Mr. Miranda was on scene and detained during the course or the warrant being served. "

HCSO also busy with a homicide in Hoopa this morning.

In addition with me trying to update 30 to 40 criminal and civil cases so you can check the blog for updates on Miranda's Rescue and Hoopa homicide.

5/2/26 8:44 a.m. HCSO issues press release. It says nothing other than evidence and ongoing investigation with no specifics. I still have information from Jennifer Raymond. I still have my brief conversation with Shannon. I am still doing follow up. I will not rush and post anything. Shannon Miranda was not arrested. The animals were checked out.

Other media can speak to the pitchfork crowd. HCSO won't release anymore details while the investigation is ongoing; I continue to consult with a lawyer about what Jennifer Raymond told me and protect myself. I did reach out to Shannon but if I were him, I would not talk to anyone until he talks to a lawyer.

Anyone is free to go read whatever else and whoever else you want. I have reported twice, first, original reporting without revealing anything that interfered with HCSO visits twice.  Now I will continue my independent follow up.

5/2/26 8:31 a.m: Not sure who is preparing the press release but I am told still in the works and soon.

10:43 p.m. Heard HCSO is working on a press release. I will add it to the post.

9:54 p.m. update: Confirmed, deputies are at Shannon Miranda's property. Should be wrapping up in half an hour. I contacted the Sgt on scene. Not going to say who it is & let other local media profit from my work.

9:30 p.m. Those of you who read my 4/28/26 post on HCSO know that there are some facts and there are some issues. That day, I heard from Shannon himself HCSO was on the way.

I was just given a tip that 8 HCSO vehicles are at Shannon Miranda's. Obviously, if they are, I cannot call Shannon right now and it is a weekend but I have reached out to a few people at HCSO. I was sent brief video which has some issues. The photos are from the video.

This is the April 28 post.

HCSO Press Release:

On April 22, 2026, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office received credible information regarding allegations of felony animal abuse, animal cruelty, fraud, and conspiracy associated with Miranda’s Rescue, located in the 1600 block of Sandy Prairie Road in Fortuna.

Due to the serious nature and complexity of the allegations, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Major Crimes Division was assigned as the lead investigative unit. Based on evidence provided to and subsequently obtained by investigators, a search warrant was sought and granted for Miranda’s Rescue, including the residence and business.

On May 1, 2026, at approximately 6:30 p.m., investigators served the search warrant at the location. During the service of the warrant, evidence related to the investigation was seized.

Animals located on the property, including dogs and cats, were examined by Humboldt County Animal Control. At this time, Humboldt County Animal Control will continue to monitor the animals on a daily basis while the investigation remains ongoing.

This is an active and ongoing investigation.

The correct information on Callie Buck's case is dates set and no warrant

I have been reporting on former local attorney Callie Buck since her arrest in 2024. My last post was on April 21, 2026 with updates until today's arraignment.

I have included three screenshots of my last three posts and my very first post on Buck's arrest. The August 26, 2025 post has links to all my coverage on Buck.

Usually, I would have just added today's update to the April 21 post. However, there is an error in Redheaded Blackbelt's on Buck's case.

These are today's court minutes from one of Buck's cases. As you will see no warrant was issued, there is no failure to appear.

In CR2601394, trial confirmation is on 7/13; jury trial on 7/20. CR2501701 is trailing. On 7/13 VOP pre trial + review hearing; VOP revocation. CR2401594 has the same dates. It is also a VOP case.

Most of you know why I add updates to previous post; most of you know I regularly cover cases. Some of you may have seen my  comment today on RHBB in response to an obvious troll baiting who used the same recycled tactic and have more context to the error reference.

There are other errors in other court cases on RHBB latest brief summaries. I am not pointing all of them out. If you read me regularly and check my updates in previous posts; you have the correct information.

Humboldt DA dismisses Alias Hensel case since he is facing federal charges

Since his arrest, I have been regularly been reporting and providing updates on child pornography suspect Alias Hensel.

Previously, I reported that on 3/26/26, setting of preliminary hearing/change of plea was continued by the Humboldt County DA to 4/17/26. After Hensel is arraigned on the federal indictment; the Humboldt case will be dismissed. On  4/17/26, due to power outage, the hearing was continued to 5/1.

Today, Hensel 2025 case was dismissed by the Humboldt DA.

Eureka's Jeffrey Wilson and former CO sentenced to 52 months in prison for sexually abusing a female inmate in Dublin Federal Correctional Institution

Eureka's Jeffrey Wilson and former CO sentenced to 52 months in prison for sexually abusing a female inmate in Dublin Federal Correctional Institution.

If HCSO, the County and Courts had no security, who knows what this guy would have done to me or someone else?

I recognize this guy. I know many of you do. He knows me. Today, around 2:15, I went back to the Courthouse to check on some cases. Should have been 5 to 10 minutes; ended up being a half an hour of me trying to safely check what I could after no help from HCSO who were MIA. This impacted my entire afternoon because this miscreant hangs around the Courthouse.

I saw him hassling a young security guard at the 5th street entrance, berating him, refusing to comply with rules to enter the building. The young security guard was calm. There are only three security guards right now; one was on break; the other at the 4th street entrance.

There are many drunks, bums, addicts who have no business at the Courthouse but will say they have court; enter the building just to use the bathroom; trash the bathrooms; the room where the public computers are; charge their phones; get mouthy with security; me and wander around with no supervision. Being houseless isn't a crime. Being a jerk and being disrespectful and thinking the Courthouse is your personal toilet and destroying property that costs taxpayers, thinking rules and laws do not apply and threatening others is a crime.

I could have walked away. I didn't because the guy has created a scene before. He is unpredictable. There was no one around. I decided to take his photo because it looked like he was getting ready to hit the security guard or do something.

He called me "a terrorist." He said, "I know you. You want me to make waves?" My saying, I would call the police did not faze him. My saying I was going to get a bailiff did not faze him.

Of course he knows me. It is Todd Cravens. I have reported on him.

This is the brazen lawlessness that has been created by Democrats, California and it is even worse in Humboldt by the kumbaya enablers and soft on crime useless legislators.

I went to the second floor. Most courtrooms closed. No bailiffs around. The two criminal courtrooms open had jurors and no access the bailiff. Two family law courtrooms; one which has no access and the other is sometimes closed.

I knew HCSO Sgt. Comer was not there becsuse when he is; Sgt. Comer is walking around checking. Didn't recognize any of the bailiffs in the couple of courtrooms open. The break room where I have knocked before in an emergency, I could hear people, including a female bailiff who has a very a recognizable voice. They can see who is standing outside. They did not open the door. That is petty and unprofessional. I will be letting Sheriff William Honsal and Second District Supervisor Michelle Bushnell know what happened today. Even though I am not in her district, Supervisor Bushnell is accessible and responsive. Her constituents know this and I have heard positive feedback about her.

Cravens was now on the second floor just wandering around. I left and went downstairs. HCSO main office is closed on Fridays. Had I not known where to exit; this guy could have done anything he wanted.

The County and Courts need to have a policy in place where it isn't a free for all at the Courthouse. 825 5th street isn't a homeless shelter.

HCSO is contracted to provide security for the courts. That does not cover outside the courtrooms, you cannot take photos or video on the second floor to document if you are in danger and there are parties there daily with restraining orders, criminals out of custody just wandering around with no safeguards. People in family law or restraining orders screaming at each other while court is in session.

If people have a court date, they need to have some documentation with them as proof to enter the building and the second floor. Security, even HCSO knows who County and Court employees are. I have suggested several times that HCSO issue a media press badge even though security and law enforcement know who I am. It can be a simple HCSO sticker on the press badges we have to make for ourselves in Humboldt if cost is an issue for the County.

Since Humboldt Courts and County of Humboldt are discussing security and funding; they should discuss these issues.

When there was a power outage, we were questioned by security where we were headed. Even if that was implemented for a month right now; it would deter troublemakers.

It has become dangerous for me to walk at all in Eureka on 4th street between B and L and 5th street between H and L. The area between H and L is where the Courthouse is located and many other places for work and errands. I did a post in February 4th street and it resonated with many of you and business owners. The comments were positive and supportive.

https://johnchiv.blogspot.com/2026/02/shout-out-to-epd-thumbs-down-to-useless.html?m=1

City Hall in Eureka does not have security and other than public meetings; you have to conduct business to be allowed access to the lobby. Access to the second or third floor is rare.

I was upset about the change but after the last few months and what I deal with multiple times a day and every day at the Humboldt County Courthouse; the City of Eureka policy is something the County and Courts need to implement.

I already told a City of Eureka Councilmember about certain problem areas on 4th street between J and L. I gave specific addresses on 4th street and a gas station. I suggested some ideas which would reduce the number of calls to EPD, get property owners some incentives and improve safety and peace for Eureka downtown residents.

While she is not my Ward Councilmember, she is responsive. I cannot wait for Ward 1 Leslie Castellano to end her term. She is the most useless elected official in Humboldt County unless it is her clique and someone she knows.

There will always be backlash from the enablers, the activists, the property owners and others not affected by the issues that plague downtown Eureka. They are the obstructionists to anything positive in Eureka and Humboldt. If City of Eureka tries to improve the situation,  there will be certain Democrats and Republicans who will be obstacles.

The County and City of Eureka have enough lawsuits. They need to stop this 24/7 loitering where people cannot go to the store, walk on the sidewalk or feel safe at a Courthouse.

City of Eureka gets judgement and lien against Fusion Smoke and Glass

I was the first one to report on City of Eureka filed a lawsuit against Fusion Smoke and Glass to  "enjoin the unlicensed and unlawful commercial cannabis activity" at 2228 4th street.

https://johnchiv.blogspot.com/2025/07/city-of-eureka-lawsuit-against-fusion.html?m=1

There are court documents and details and updates I have been adding to the July 15, 2025 post.

The dismissal hearing scheduled for 4/27 was scheduled after a settlement of the case was filed on 4/1/26 by the City of Eureka. The 4/27 hearing is now listed as "off calendar."

A judgement signed by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Timothy Canning for the City of Eureka on 4/8/26 was filed on April 9, 2026. Total amount owed to secure the lien is $5,000.

Amount listed in the notice of lien is $72, 356,00.

Hakimullah Wafa of Highlands, California is listed as debtor. Hina Ahmed of Arcata and Fusion Smoke and Glass of Eureka are listed on the second page with driver's license and social security number unknown.

On 4/22/26, a notice of entry and judgement and lien was filed by City of Eureka. Also filed was  an abstract of judgement with an additional name; Malik Mehboob.

Mr. Robert Black and Mr. Greg Holtz both filed paperwork for the City of Eureka. Mr. Dustin Owens represents Fusion Smoke and Glass.

With the amount of custody credits, Richard Sanderson will be out on the streets earlier than he should

Richard Sanderson was convicted by a jury for assault, false imprisonment, domestic violence and criminal threats in his 2025 case.

On 4/30, Leonard Miller addressed the court. Sanderson was sentenced by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward to 4 years 8 months with 512 custody credits.

Defense Romero motion to dismiss prior conviction was denied by Judge Steven Steward.

Deputy Public Defender Ben McLaughlin is Sanderson's attorney. Deputy District Attorney Brandon Boozari is the prosecutor.

Most people read me daily and regularly. The others can look up the two previous posts on Google or via the search feature on the blog.

Jail for possession of child pornography and in Humboldt?

Samuel Fayne Walton was booked into the Humboldt County jail yesterday for PC 311.11 (a) possession of child pornography after being remanded in court.

After all the times, I have called out the no consequences for these charges in Humboldt and local judges; I am surprised it was Judge Kaleb Cockrum but further research of court records showed that both the Public Defender's office and Judge Cockrum wasted hearings and court resources to reduce Walton's time in jail instead of sending Walton to jail when he was sentenced on 1/14/26 for the 120 days. Court records and minutes are included in the post so you can see for yourself what happened from 1/14/26 to 4/30/26.

Alberto Iskra's plea deal in rape case includes registering as a sex offender, waiving some custody credits and stipulation to prison sentence

I reportedon Alberto Iskra's August 2025 arrest by Eureka Police Department. After 10 continuances, I reported in the last two updates in the August 2025 post that a change of plea was scheduled. That post also has charges and the complaint. Count 9 was added after the original complaint was filed.

https://johnchiv.blogspot.com/2025/08/alberto-iskra-arrested-by-epd-for.html?m=1

Yesterday, on 4/30/26, change of plea taken by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Lawrence Killoran. Iskra pleaded guilty to Count 1 forcible rape and Count 9 PC 261.5 (c) statutory rape with stipulation to prison terms. He has to register as a sex offender. Counts 2 to 8 dismissed by the People. Iskra waived credits prior to 2/13.

Deputy DA Carolyn Schaffer is the prosecutor for this case. Deputy Public Defender Emery Welton is Iskra's attorney.

Sentencing is on 6/2. Unless there is a reason to do a new post; all future updates including sentencing will be added to this post.

HCSO POP team with assistance from APD arrests 11 for drug charges and crimes against elderly people

Whiski Moran, one of the 11 arrested, was just at the Humboldt County Courthouse checking on a court date for a prior case. Humboldt Superior Court Operations Manager Kelly Nyberg often assists people on the second floor who cannot find their name on the calendar while she is doing multiple other duties making sure the courts are functioning and last minute changes due to judge disqualifications. Whiski was already released by the jail and is back on the streets.
