Michael Black only held to answer on two counts, Ms. Sullivan got his $1 million bail reduced to $250,000

 


A preliminary hearing was held in the second 2024 case for Michael Black which was his most recent arrest. On 5/29, after a preliminary hearing, Black was only held to answer to Count 1 and 4 by Judge Steven Steward. On 5/30, after arguments from Deputy District Attorney Jessica Watson and Ms. Andrea Sullivan, Judge Steward granted request for bail reduction and reduced Black's bail from $1 million to $250,000.  This is why it matters who you hire as an attorney. Read court minutes provided for more details. Black was ordered to have no contact with the victims in the case. He posted bond on 5/31.

Arraignment on information is on 6/12 in this case. Black has another 2024 case which is already scheduled for trial.confirmation on 8/28 and jury trial on 9/9. Violation of probation in his 2023 case is trailing. Pre trial scheduled on 6/12.





6/12: Arraigned inCR2401562. Trial confirmation scheduled for 8/28 and jury trial for 9/9  which are the same dates already scheduled in CR2401166. His VOP case CR2301197 is trailing.
