Supervisor Rex Bohn chosen as second vice chair for Rural County Representatives of California

At their December meeting earlier this week, the Rural County Representatives of California (RCRC) Board of Directors selected Humboldt County Supervisor Rex Bohn to serve as 2016 Second Vice Chair. Supervisor Bohn will lead the 34-member county service organization in 2018.
"I am honored to have been selected by my peers, and am excited to bring the north coast perspective to our policy and advocacy discussions at the state level,” said Bohn. "California’s rural counties continue to face mounting challenges, and RCRC provides a united platform for our collective voices to be heard both in Sacramento, and in Washington, D.C. I humbly accept this responsibility, and look forward to advancing the cause."
Supervisor Bohn will join Glenn County Supervisor John Viegas (2016 Chair), Tehama County Supervisor Bob Williams (2016 First Vice Chair), and Sierra County Supervisor Lee Adams (2016 Immediate Past Chair) to complete the 2016 slate of Officers. The 2016 slate of RCRC Officers will officially be installed on January 20, 2016 in Sacramento.
