Convicted felon Sarah Crispino Ballou akaSarah A C Ballou has been charged by the Humboldt DA with five felonies. Count 1 has two special allegations. Alleged victim in Count 1 is clerk Abdul Rehman. The alleged crimes took place at the Patriot Gas Station.
Arraignment is this afternoon.

1:35 p.m. Arraignment was just completed. Humboldt Superior Court Judge Heather Durand said no bail hold remains until OR bail hearing on 11/4; preliminary hearing is on 11/13. Deputy DA Rebecca Buckley-Stein appeared on the case for the People. Deputy Conflict Counsel Zach Curtis accepted appointment on behalf of his office.
