During Interventions, I was told only attorneys remain in the courtroom. No public. No media. Why was a TS reporter allowed in the courtroom today?
The Ferrer case drew a lot of public attention. I was in the courthouse and did not go because have always been told intervention is for attorneys only.
I contacted Will.
Will just responded and said he walked in, no one asked him to leave. He has been in intervention hearings before. Will is known to court staff here.
So now that an exception has been made, I think court staff needs to be consistent. The problem is not Will or the Times-Standard. I like Will. The problem is rules being applied
subjectively. Often a few of us are in court, others call in and get information.
When you are trying to scoop each other, every one should have fair access.
