Free seminar for all businesses and employees that have an alcohol license on May 12

The Eureka Police Department is pleased to announce a free seminar for all businesses and their employees who hold an alcohol license in the County of Humboldt. The training is presented by the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) and will be held on May 12th, 2014 from 9:00am to 1:00pm. The event will take place in the Warfinger Building located at 1 Marina Way Eureka, CA 95501.

The LEAD (Licensee Education on Alcohol and Drugs) seminar will provide attendees with:
Information on what is “acceptable” I.D., what is the best way to check I.D., how to refuse service, signs and prevention of illicit drug activity, and much more.

Update on California alcohol laws
Helpful handouts

No reservation is required. On the day of the training, please bring a copy of your ABC license and plan to arrive a few minutes early to sign in, as the program will begin promptly at 9 a.m. Please call the local Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) or Eureka Police Department if you have any questions.
