Hi Jon, can you steer me to the place in the story where it refers to her as belonging to the Christian faith? I didn't seem to find it. Just to let you know, non-Christians contribute in this way to our American society and the greater world society each and every day. But, yes, a wonderful gesture from this girl from Chicago and a story to be retold as ways for all humans to care for one another whether you belong to a faith-based organization or ideology or not. ~Ross Rowley
Ross, you have to go beyond the link. I actually checked out the original post and usually, Amen bless her, is associated with Christians. I am happy whether she is Christian or not and I agree with you that both Christians and non-Christians can contribute to society and do. I thought this was a great example to show that actions matter a lot more than words.
