"It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Animal Control Officer Jim Norton on Friday, May 13, 2016. His passing was sudden and a shock to everyone. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family during this most difficult time. Jim worked with us for 11 years and was a great asset to the animal shelter and the community. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and was an integral part of the animal control team who brought years of experience to the table. He will be greatly

Jim was a very hard working dedicated animal control officer. He was also a dedicated family man who served our country in the military. He was very proud of his family, work and military service. He will be missed by many.
