Let's get a basic fact out of the way. I am supporting and endorsing Chet Albin. I have known Chet since I moved here. I knew him as a person and businessman caring about his community long before he was appointed to Eureka City Council.
Ships and harbor seem to be a theme this week. Chet has been busy for two days meeting with local officials and business people. They have been meeting and inquiring with a man who has 10 years experience in marketing cruise ships. He may be hired as a consultant to get cruise ships to Eureka and Humboldt Bay.
So his drug use, anger management issues, and carpet/tea bagger status does not alarm you?

What concerns me is your libelious comments based on a speculative article written on Lost Coast on an incident where they were not present. Furthermore, words like tea bagger are demeaning. As for anger management, does Linda Atkin's anger issues concern you? Do anonymous blogs and bloggers spewing hate and half truths concern you?

ReplyDeleteI remember Mayor Nancy Flemming worked hard to bring cruise ships to Humboldt Bay, but an old maritime law that restricted the number of domestic berths made it close to impossible for the operators to consider our port. I think only one ship made it to the bay during her tenure.
