  1. A protest against criminals? Are you expecting a counter-demonstration?

    1. Mitch, it's not my protest. It's an event planned by Operation Safe Streets so you can ask them. As for criminals, feel free to do the same. How would they counter demonstrate? By robbing or smashing more windows in Old Town? They already do that.

    2. Mitch and John - I would surely think criminals coming into commit crimes at an Anti-Crime Rally might be making poor choices. We will have a security plan in place though.

  2. John,

It was a rhetorical question. My point was that no one is pro-criminal. I suppose you are right that criminals are pro-criminal.

    1. They certainly Mitch. Living and working in Old Town and Downtown, I am fed up of that element thinking they own the streets.

Arts Alive is a good time to get some visibility for this issue.

  3. Yes, as long as the merchants and their precious overpriced product are safe. I doubt any of them actually lives downtown. There is more to life than mammon.

    1. Do you live downtown? I live and work here. Whether all the businessmen do or do not live here is immaterial. They invest in this area, residents pay to live in this area. Thugs are owed nothing. Criminals break the law.Easy to speak under a psuedonym and comment on blogs Johannes. Have you done anything productive for this community?
