Testimony in Day 2 has been paused twice due to Jason Warren needing a break
The second time he walked out of the courtroom, looked like he was going to throw up. Both breaks were sudden at the request of Warren. The second break was the mid morning break but now we took a third break.
After a request for a third break this morning around 11 a.m., Judge Cissna just informed us after the third break, "Mr Warren is ill. We are going to recess for the day."
Court expected to resume tomorrow at 8:30. Judge Cissna added, "hopefully."
This morning, CHP officer Brent Walker, the lead investigator in charge of the Myrtle Avenue crime scene ( where the three joggers and a dog were allegedly hit by Warren) continued his testimony on photos of the crime scene dnd identifying evidence. This included a mirror from the abandoned KIA Warren was driving, a silver and turquoise shoe which was identified by Jessica Hunt's (one of the victims who survived) as hers yesterday and the broken chrome piece from the KIA that was recovered on the scene.
