After defense rested, People presented two witnesses including recalling Detective Ortega. Defense recalled Ferrer to the stand.
Both sides concluded at 11 a.m. Judge Feeney will meet with both attorneys and Ferrer tomorrow to discuss jury instructions. The jury returns Wednesday at 9 am to hear closing instructions from the Judge and closing arguments.
The jury could start deliberating as early as Thursday this week.
