Motion on preliminary injunction in Providence St. Joe's case scheduled in December, attorneys request trial dates which was calendared for October 2026

 

On 10/27/25 in CV2401832 State of CA vs Providence St. Joseph's Hospital in Eureka there was a request to set trial dates. The other related cases are CV2402362 + CV2500674.

I checked CV2401832. The hearing on motion for preliminary injunction was continued to 12/10/25. Trial assignment is on 10/23/26 and jury trial on 10/26/26.

12/10/25: I did not attend the People vs St Joe's hearing in person because I had a feeling Humboldt Superior Court Judge Timothy Canning would take the matter under submission He did. The arguments basically are the same at every hearing. There was also a motion to seal requested by the State of California.
