Autopsies reveal cause of death for Ettersburg victims to be gunshot wounds
The Humboldt County Coroner’s Office has identified two bodies discovered in a burning vehicle near the Ettersburg Junction on Aug. 14 as that of Tiffany Marie Ellebrecht, 31, and Jeremy Dieter Kuemmel, 32, both of Humboldt County. Autopsies of the bodies revealed that both victim’s causes of death were gunshot wounds.

Ulisses Rodriguez charged on four counts. He was arraigned this afternoon. Intervention is scheduled for 9/4. Preliminary hearing is scheduled for 9/6.
Bail is $4 milion. Time was not waived.

Just spoke with Sheriff William Honsal. The replacement for Captain Kym Thompson will be an internal promotion. Sheriff Honsal expects to make that announcement "in a month and half." The process "is in the works" and HCSO has already started working with Human Resources.
