Just convicted in one case; has two other open cases and Nicholas Sarkozy adds a 4th case for dissuading or intimidating a witness or victim

Nicholas Sarkozy was just convicted on October 24 by a jury and found guilty of criminal threats, false imprisonment and dissauding a witness. Sentencing is scheduled in that case on 11/21. He also has  2024 probation violation revocation hearing scheduled the same day as his sentencing.

Today, the Humboldt County DA filed a fourth case against Sarkozy. He is charged with two counts of PC 136.1 (a) (1) dissuading or intimidating a witness or victim. He is scheduled to be arraigned this afternoon.

Humboldt County Deputy District Attorney Brandon Boozari is the prosecutor for all of Sarkozy's cases. Deputy Conflict Counsel Zach Curtis is Sarkozy's attorney.

On 11/14/25, instead of the preliminary hearing the case was dismissed by DA and Sarkozy ordered released on this case. One of his previous 2025 cases, CR2502092 case for dissauding a victim/witness was also dismissed on 11/14.

These are the charges for the new case dismissed by the DA and based on the charges in the two cases, my guess is that when he is sentenced for the recent jury trial that this is a part of some resolution for all his cases. The conduct was covered during the jury trial.

11/21/25: Pulling yet another stunt right before sentencing in his remaining 2025 case, Sarkozy
requested a Marsden motion. It was denied by Judge Lawrence Killoran who presided over the jury trial. Sarkozy then requested continuance in CR2501309; People objected;  sentencing was continued to 12/12 and so was the VOP revocation hearing in CR2402481.

12/12/25: Sentencing in CR2501309. VOP revocation hearing was scheduled in
CR2402481.

Court minutes were not up on 12/12/25 so I will add next week.

Judge Killoran sentenced Sarkozy to 4 years 8 months  over Mr. Boozari objections. Time to be served concurrently. Mr. Boozari did not think time should have been concurrent for all charges, including probation violation. Sarkozy as always was pissed because he is an ungrateful repeat offender and an unremorseful loser who refuses to accept any responsibility.
