Another arrest for sexual battery in Humboldt in less than 12 hours

Delos Moore was arrested at 2 a.m. this morning by Cal Poly Humboldt Police for PC 236 false imprisonment and  PC 243.4(a) sexual battery.

Cal Poly Humboldt issued this information at 1:46 p.m. today.

"On Monday, Aug. 31, officers with the Cal Poly Humboldt University Police Department arrested 43-year-old Delos Moore following a report of a sexual assault that occurred in the Hinarr Hu Moulik  residence hall.  Moore is a Cal Poly Humboldt student who is a resident of Hinarr Hu Moulik.

Moore was transported to the Humboldt County Correctional Facility and booked for violations of Penal Code 243.4 (Sexual Battery) and Penal Code 236 (False Imprisonment). Moore has since been released on $35,000  bail. Despite being issued a restraining order, which requires him to stay away from Hinarr Hu Moulik, Moore returned to his room and was arrested by UPD for violating the restraining order. "

Update: Moore posted bail after his early a.m. arrest, then he was rearrested for PC 273.6(a) violating a restraining order and has a second bail amount of $25,000. He has no record in Humboldt Superior Court. Cal Poly Humboldt press release should have clarified he was rearrested. I checked with the jail.

9/1/26: Delos Moore posted bail again and is out of custody. The alleged victim is male.

Issued by Cal Poly Humboldt today after I called them out yesterday and followed up with the jail to get information for my loyal readers.
