I have already reported on what will be discussed at the hearing today for murder suspects Tselin Lincoln and William Warren including Warren possibly getting a new attorney, his current attorney's motion to file declaration under seal. The setting of preliminary hearing dates and motion to compel has been continued several times. The screenshots are three recent posts I have done with details on all the above. An update from today will be added to the post on the blog.

Update: Once again, continuance for motion to compel and setting of preliminary hearing continued to 8/26. There is also a request for an in cameta hearing which was taken under submidsion by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward. Warren's attorney, Ms. Rebecca Linkous' motion to seal her declaration was granted. Lincoln's attorney is Ms. Andrea Sullivan. Senior Deputy District Attorney Roger Rees is the prosecutor for both cases.

8/26/26: Today in the Tselin Lincoln and William Warren hearing, this is what happened. In Lincoln's case, setting of preliminary hearing and motion to compel was  continued to 9/2. In Warren's case, Ms. Linkous' request for in camera hearing denied by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Steven Steward because no further information was needed. Based on Ms. Linkous' declaration under seal, there is a conflict. Setting of preliminary hearing, motion to compel and appointment of new counsel is scheduled on 9/2. 

I do not do a new post on these minor developments. In this case, there have been various continuances. This summary with information or court minutes will be added to the previous post. With Warren getting a new attorney, a preliminary hearing is not going to be set for a while.

9/2/26: Today, Mendocino attorney Kevin Davenport was appointed for William Warren. He requested a continuance so both Warren and Tselin Lincoln's setting of preliminary hearing and motion to compel was continued to 9/30.
