Humboldt County cannot tell me how much money and staff time was spent on the Miranda's Rescue Investigation because they do not track or maintain that information

 

How convenient for the County of Humboldt? So no records and then department heads can just go over budget and the County whines about having no funds to fix roads but can buy dilapidated buildings.

As someone texted me, "this response is BS."

It maybe bs but County of Humboldt knows the other media who have multiple staff, more money and resources to hire a lawyer will not sue them or ask the questions I do. Certain tips are only provided to me for a reason. I have earned that trust by my reporting.

I don't have time to spare especially when the Miranda's Rescue and now this St. Bernard's incident is draining me with people emailing me because no one else will listen. Add to that every angry person in Humboldt and the online sycophants who do the dirty work of harassing and silencing independent reporting for the useless Humboldt cabal and bullies.

People need to step up, speak up and not expect me to take on their battles, get retaliated against especially when they do not contribute a dime towards my work, my expenses which include legal expenses .
