Repeat offender and stalking suspect Clayton Miĺler has picked up three 2026 cases for violating a court order

I did not see Clayton Miller today or his attorney, Joseph Judge. I was at the Humboldt County Courthouse most of the day. His cases were continued to tomorrow at 8:30 a.m.for confirmation of counsel since Joe Judge is withdrawing as counsel. While it has been referred to the Humboldt panel for appointment, who gets appointed is sometimes worked out informally.

I have been on the second floor more than once to hear Joe Judge call certain attorneys, including Gregory Kreis to see if he would take a certain case for appointment. I have also overheard Public Defender Luke Brownfield discussing appointments recently; once with Gregory Kreis.

I reported on Miller's 2025 court case and when I went to check on his preliminary hearing today and what happened, I saw that he had picked up three new cases. Deputy District Attorney Victoria Reierstad is the prosecutor

In CR2502970, in which Miller's charges include stalking and criminal threats. Miller is charged with 13 counts in that case and his bail in that case is $580,000. Preliminary hearing was scheduled today in the 2025 case. As of today, Miller has been in jail for 96 days.

Since that arrest, Clayton Miller has picked up three 2026 cases. filed 1/26/26 CR2600087 filed 1/26/26 is PC 273.6 (a) violation of a court order. Arraignment was scheduled for 1/12/26; continued to 1/15 so Joe Judge could appear; continued again to 1/16 to coincide with CR2502970, finally arraignment was completed on 1/16; trial setting on 2/6, case on 3/17 for pre trial.

CR2600185 , another PC 273.6 (a) violation of a court order. Arraignment on 1/22; 2/6 trial setting; and pre trial on 3/17.

CR2600204, the third case with PC 273.6 (a) violation of a court order. Arraigned 1/26; trial setting 2/6; pre trial on 3/17.

I have covered Miller since 2020. This is the only time I am adding links to previous coverage. If you are not familiar with Miller's previous arrests and record, you should read those posts. The only reason I included court documents is so you can see that this is yet another repeat offender ignoring a court order and has wasted HCSO time and resources repeatedly. Protective orders are meaningless documents. Anyone who reads or follows crime coverag can see this is a problem all over the country. Bail reform by Democrats is anti victim and anti public safety.
