At 1:48 p.m. on 3/17/26, HCSO issued a press release about 18 year old convicted felon Tyler Colegrove's arrest today.
I checked on his bail which is $50,000.
While it says convicted felon, there is no criminal case in e court. I don't know if the conviction is from outside Humboldt or a juvenile case which would not be accessible. With the amount of arrests daily and cases, there is extra work and this question can wait because if charges are filed, the complaint will have that information.
I did receive a credible tip but anything to do with someone being juvenile is impossible to verify years later. Even attorneys have to get court orders for certain information to be unsealed.
I know these scanner arrests get press from other media and they maybe good for 15 sec headlines that people will forget with the next Humboldt crime which seems to be on steroids lately. He is 18, this is Humboldt and with California laws; let's see what happens. The charges he is booked on are dime a dozen in Humboldt.
