He has been in office less than a year and already won both his jury trials; one this week against former Humboldt DA Paul Gallegos

Former Humboldt Superior Court Clerk Matt Dobie now Humboldt Deputy DA passed the bar on his first try, won his first jury trial which I wrote about and just won his second jury trial yesterday against former Humboldt DA and now defense attorney, Paul Gallego who represented Wyatt Morgan Mello.

This was a three co-defendant case. Mello was the B defendant. The other defendants were Tukatuk Nelson who was represented by Gregory Kreis and Robert James, Jr who was represented by Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Meagan O'Connell. Those two defendants entered pleas before trial. The case was a 3 on 1 attack on another inmate in the jail.
