Convicted felon and fugitive Joseph Larue's cases were on calendar today. In CR2403294, instead of setting of preliminary hearing, defense continued the hearing to tomorrow for change of plea. CR2403293 and CR2500184 are both extradition cases and they are trailing. Larue filed a writ of habeas corpus in April CR2500790. Obviously, that ploy did not work.
Ms. Rebecca Linkous is Larue's current attorney. Humboldt Deputy District Attorney Ian Harris appeared on the case today for the People.
10/30/25: Continued again to 10/31 by defense; plea form filled out but still in discussions with DA.
10/31/25: Change of plea continued again by defense to 11/6.
