Former employee of Weott Community Services District sentenced in grand theft case, booked and released from jail

I was the only one to cover former employee of Weott Community Services District Julie Santibanez's embezzlement and identity theft 2023 case. She was sentenced yesterday by Humboldt Superior Court Judge Kaleb Cockrum to 1 day in jail and two years probation for a grand theft conviction. She was booked and released. I already reported on her plea in detail which was taken by  Judge Cockrum.

Deputy DA Brandon Boozari appeared at the last hearing. Deputy DA Candace Myers for sentencing. Deputy Public Defender Ryan McClurg is Santibanez' attorney.
