Arcata Police Department did not include details for Penal Codes in the John Edward Knight Jr press release issued a couple of minutes ago. Google is your friend, look them up. Knight Jr has 6 traffic cases in Humboldt Superior Court from 2017 to 2025 with 5 convictions and one dismissal.

On March 26th, 2026, at about 10:22 AM the Arcata Police Department investigated a commercial burglary at a business located in the 1400 block of M Street in Arcata.
Arcata Police Department Detectives identified one of the suspects as 41-year-old Samoa resident John Edward Knight Jr.
On April 29th, 2026, at about 7:00 AM the Arcata Police Department with the assistance of the Humboldt County Sherrif's Office POP Team served a search warrant at a residence on Samoa Coast Ln in Samoa, where John Edward Knight Jr was taken into custody without incident.
Knight was booked and lodged into the Humboldt County Correctional Facility for P459, PC 30305, PC 22810, PC 21810, and PC 532.
