Pa Cheng was arrested in September by the Humboldt County Drug Task Force for PC 287(b)(2) oral copulation of a minor,, PC 266i (a)( 2) pandering by force, threats or violence and HS 11366.5(a) operating or maintaining a drug house.
In May, Cheng was arrested by HCDTF for oral copulation of a minor and drug charges.
Today, after a preliminary hearing in CR2402896 Cheng was held to answer by Retired Judge John Feeney. Deputy District Attorney Ian Harris is the prosecutor for this case. Ms. Rebecca Linkous is Cheng's attorney.
Defense 17 (b) motion to reduce the felony to misdemeanor was granted. There is a pre trial scheduled on 10/15 and 10/24. In CR2401680, the pandering case, future dates for 10/15 readiness conference on 10/15 and jury trial on 10/21/24 remain. Court minutes have more details on the preliminary hearing.
