Inside source claims Mission Linen lost largest contractor St. Joe's/Providence and 15 employees will be laid off

Rumor or fact? This is according to an inside source and I have reached out to both Mission Linen and Providence.

According to this source, last week local business Mission Linen "lost their largest contractor St. Joe's/Providence" to a Reno business. This will result in 15 employees being laid off. The source later told me fuve employees were laid off.

Mission Linen Eureka has no email. I called spoke with Ashley who transferred me to Donna who referred me to CEO John Ross in Santa Barbara. No one has a phone number and Mission Linen does not have email listed on any website.

I called Santa Barbara that I looked up and got a rude representative from the answering machine. I don't have time to chase down Mission Linen repeatedly. They can reach out if they wish. I emailed Providence 's Christian Hill and Providence's National Director of Communications Bryan Kawaski. Hill's email did not bounce back even though he is working for Coast Central Credit Union.

Providence is national and it could be a business decision of contracting in California vs Nevada. Still, it is a loss of local jobs. Readers and former employees have provided  information and verified but I have yet to hear from Mission or Providence.
