I have covered Jose Cruz's case from start to conclusion. He was sentenced this morning by Judge Kaleb Cockrum. A criminal protective order was filed and served.
In the last post, it was unclear from court minutes if Judge Cockrum's decision was tentative or final but according to today's court minutes; execution of sentence is suspended. Cruz placed on probation for 8 years.
I may or may not add previous links later because I have done so regularly for months. If there is a press release from the DA, I will add it.
