After two judges disqualified, retrial for convicted molestor assigned to Judge Kaleb Cockrum

 

Convicted molestor Steve Boudreaux's retrial for Counts 1 to 5 was scheduled to start on December 2. Sentencing for Count 6 from the first trial is trailing.

Deputy Public Defender Casey Russo disqualified Judge Steward, then Deputy District Attorney Whitney Timm disqualified Judge Kelly Neel. Judge Kaleb Cockrum was assigned to trial and dates were rescheduled. Readiness conference and sentencing for Count 6 on 12/18; jury trial on 1/6/25.
