This is the third time registered sex offender and pedophile Benjamin Paul Johnston has been arrested in for violation of parole since he was convicted.
Johnston was arrested in June 2019 and admitted violation of parole in 2019. He was arrested for VOP on January 11, 2020. He was arrested again yesterday for VOP.
There was no court case filed in January 2020 and he was released from custody after five days in jail. In the 2019 felony revocation case, he was sentenced to 135 days in jail with credits for 20 days. 10 were actual custody credits and 10 days were 4019 credits.
Despite the lax California laws, will Johnston be held accountable by parole this time? I have contacted the PIO for Parole and Johnston's Eureka parole agent.
