Allman is charged with Count 1 Terrorizing or Obstructing Exercise of Religion. Count 2 is Criminal Threats. Both counts pertain to the Episcopal Diocese of Northern California.

Harold Lee Conners arrested for same Fish and Game violation as Ray Christie

Harold Lee Conners was arrested by Fortuna Police Department on a arrest warrant for  alleged violation of FG 5652 (a), littering within 150 feet of state waters. He was released on OR and told to appear in court on 01/27/2020.

Arrest warrant has bern out since July 2019.

Two police cars near 6th and O this morning

Police cars parked on the corner of 6th and O at 5:40 p.m. Specifically near 1336 6th Street,a white house. By the time I got to the location, the police were gone.

EPD Crime Analyst Brittany Powell said, "It was a routine traffic stop this morning on 6th street.  Driver was warned. "

If convicted, will Ray Christie face any time in custody or just fines?

After starting deliberations again on December 16, jurors in the Ray Christie case took one break at 11 a.m. and another break at 2:55 p.m.
They left at 5 p.m.

Christie is charged with four felony counts of animal cruelty and 38 misdemeanor counts of littering within 150 feet of state waters.

Public Defenders have conflict so alleged child abuser gets a private attorney

The Public Defender declared a conflict and cannot not represent alleged child abuser Christopher Best. The court had to appoint a private attorney, Ms. Andrea Sullivan.

Intervention is on January 6. Preliminary hearing on January 13.

Another typical day in Eureka for EPD

He was pulling his pants up. The officers did not arrest him. I could hear him cussing at them as I walked up and continue after I left.

Juror # 5 excused and an alternate juror replaced her this morning. The Ray Christie jury will start deliberations all over again. Fresh verdict forms will be provided.

Ray Christie jury was told to return at 9:15 a.m. on December 16.

Overheard Juror # 11 in the cafe telling the owner at the Courthhouse say, " Today might be the last day. We got in trouble again. The Judge likes to spank us."

Fortunately, only I was in the cafe at the time.

At 9:43, Juror #5 was called in by herself, again. She came out at 9:48. Then juror #7 was called in; she is the foreperson. She came out at 9:55.

Roy Moran was arrested by Arcata Police Department on a bench warrant for petty theft yesterday. He was just arrested on December 11.

With her history of failure to appear and probation violations, why is she not getting any prison time?

Once again, a bench warrant was issued and once again, PG & E gate crasher Katherine Zacevich was arrested yesterday for violation of probation. She laughed in court and the prospect of jail time did not faze her.

Yesterday, Judge Kaleb Cockrum sentenced convicted molestor Patricio Segura to the stipulated term of 8 years. The victim is his stepdaughter. Segura resolved his case six days after his jury trial started.
