Miguel Moreno's assault case with a glass bong may resolve at next court date

 

I have covered convicted criminal and repeat offender Lil E aka Miguel Moreno for years. These three previous posts should get new readers caught up including Moreno's criminal record and cases. I have been adding updates to the October 25, 2025 post including my coverage of the preliminary hearing where the alleged victim testified how Moreno jumped out from where he was hiding near the alleged victim's car, sprinted, called the alleged victim by the wrong name and assaulted him with a glass bong.

On 9/1, intervention in his 2023 case for violation of probation and Readiness Conference in his 2025 case was continued to 9/3 by Deputy DA Trent Timm to comply with Marsy's law about a potential resolution. 

Conflict Counsel Supervising Attorney Megan O'Connell took over the case at the preliminary hearing. If the cases don't resolve, VOP revocation hearing and jury trial are scheduled for 9/21.

9/3/26: In CR2302134A,  admitted VOP.  In CR2502354, entered plea. Sentencing is on 10/16. Plea details in court minutes.
