Local attorney did not have gun listed on CCW permit; even with a permit, no guns allowed in the courthouse
Local attorney's concealed and carry permit did not have that gun listed. Even with a concealed and carry permit, you cannot carry a weapon into the local courthouse.

$250,000 bail for Forrest Wildberger arrested for attempted murder
On 08-22-2017 at about 1:45 AM Deputies from the Mendocino County Sheriff's Office and officers from the California Highway Patrol responded to a reported stabbing in the 65000 block of Wildwood Drive in Leggett, California.
Incident with local attorney and loaded firearm being investigated by HCSO
Sheriff William Honsal just told me:
"That incident is under investigation. If the evidence supports a criminal complaint it'll be referred to the District Attorney's Office for review."

Yesterday, Nickolas Deremer was out of custody, appeared in court, for another case. I was in Courtroom 1 waiting for the Zacevich preliminary to be assigned to a courtroom and left a minute after Deremer.His attorney, Public Defender Owen Tipps, walked out of court to find his client in cuffs.

Savvy courthouse security screeners spotted the firearm; hit the emergency button; four deputies responded. The gun was taken away. Stunich was not detained.

Hwy 101 traffic collision complicated by reports of drunk male peeing on people
Humboldt County Sheriff's deputies asked to assist CHP at the scene of a traffic collision on Hwy 101 near Indianola where according to reports, an agitated and intoxicated male subject is urinating on people.
Orick Park murder suspect preliminary hearing for tomorrow vacated
Elisha Wilson's preliminary hearing for attempted murder was scheduled for tomorrow.
Instead, there is a disposition and reset hearing scheduled for September 26 after intervention this morning.

HCSO Sgt. Allen was the only People's witness to testify at Katherine Zacevich's preliminary hearing this morning.
After he located Zacevich on the PG and E grounds, despite telling her twice to stop and talk to him, she didn't comply. The second time she yelled "Fuck you."
PG & E gate crasher held to answer on all counts; Count 4 modified from original complaint
PG & E Gate Crasher Katherine Zacevich's preliminary is scheduled for this morning.
The People have made an offer in this case; which are from her arrest in August. Zacevich has another case trailing this one. She was arrested in July for that case.
Arraignment on information on September 5 at 8:30
