Having covered him twice for half a decade, I had hoped not to see or hear anything about twice convicted human trafficker and sex offender David Bernard Anderson. He was charged with human trafficking twice, convicted of that charge once and in the second case, he pleaded guilty to attempted pandering, one count of false imprisonment and two counts of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor.
Anderson was sentenced to five years in prison but had substantial custody credits. I said in April 2021 he would be back on the streets in no time.
Checking the HCSO active list, there was an arrest warrant issued for Anderson for a 2022 case on 4/27/22 with the lead charge being PC 487 (a) grand theft. I would have noticed his name on the jail log.
Anderson does have a 2022 case. There was no arraignment on 4/6/22 and e court records show that it was referred to the DA for an affadavit for arrest warrant which was issued on 4/27/22. In addition to grand theft, Anderson is also charged with conspiracy to commit a crime and unemployment fraud.

I am not listing all previous posts. I covered Anderson extensively, both his cases, every hearing since 2018.
