Convicted felon Michael McEnry Convicted was arrested on July 26 and booked for HS 11358(c) illegal cultivation of marijuana, HS 11359 (b) possession of marijuana for sale, PC29800(a) (1) felon in possession of a firearm and PC30305(a) felon in possession of ammunition.
The District's Attorney has not filed charges for the 2022 arrest. Today, a preliminary hearing was continued for the second time by stipulation in McEnry's 2021 case. That case is from two alleged charges in 2020 . The hearing was continued on 6/30/22 by stipulation. Setting of preliminary hearing is scheduled for 1/11/23.
1/11/23: Setting of preliminary hearing was continued to 4/6 by defense asking for time to restore property, claiming proof from Fish & Game.
10/ 16/23: A bench warrant was issued for Michael McEnry in a 2023 case and he was booked into jail on that case today Arraignment is already scheduled in that case for 10/19. The 2021 case is still open.
2023 charges:
I had stopped covering this case because of continuances and this case is a low priority as other cases pile up. I did an update because McEnry's name appeared on the jail log in October 2023 but unless there is a significant development, it still remains a low priority and I have too many other cases to follow.
