Honesty is obvious not something that can be used to describe Mr Fletcher. His tactics are childish at best. Nothing irritates me more that dirty campaign politics.

Fred, did you bother to contact me privately to discuss my post before you commented on my blog and went off on your smear campaign on me on Facebook, you did not. Why not?

I was sent these images today. I will let this post and my previous post on Fred Fletcher and my comments on that post address Mr. Fletcher's and the other unsubstantiated claims on Facebook.

These anon pages and Fred or anyone else who attacks me are not relevant except this kind of poison needs to be exposed. It has kept Humboldt stagnant by distracting voters from the real issues.

Fred, since you seem to be throwing around a lot of allegations and motives, it is only fair to ask why you have so much free time? No business? Is anyone funding your smear campaigns? See Fred, anyone can raise questions. Doesn't mean they are valid.

Fred, I am going to have to bill you for all this free publicity you are getting on my blog. People kept asking me who is this guy. No one knows you other than some of the courthouse crowd.

 Unlike your anonymous facebook pages, I have readers who vote, think for themselves and pay attention.

You are lucky no one has hauled you in court for defamation. Libel is not easy to prove but it is not impossible. Same goes for unmasking anons.

With me, you have definitely provided good documentation for trying to intimidate free speech and reporting.

I wonder what the California State Bar thinks of your conduct? And your comments about Humboldt Superior Court.

I do not cover every case. I notice you forget to mention that I was the only one in local media to cover Randall Miles Cook case and Cook was represented by Michael Robinson, who is Lawrence Killoran's law firm partner. Selective memory from your years in Humboldt Superior Court?

Other media outlets have ads from defense lawyers too. Ads from Lawrence Killoran, which I do not have on my site. Have you ever accused them of profitting from crime?

I cover Humboldt County Superior Court well as I do other local news.  The time I spend is not adequately compensated.
Nor is the time I spend answering calls, emails and personal questions from the community, 24/7.

The attacks prove one thing. The candidates you and these attack groups support can't win on facts or policy or qualifications.

Fred, not only are you childish but you are a hypocrite. Instead of working on real change and taking on the entrenched systems and people in power in Humboldt; you pick on a grassroots reporter in a small, rural town.
