  1. WTF Texas is an open carry state. Are the people that dumb to not carry?? This will be just that scenario-what if they had carried a personal weapon for defense?

    1. Camelg, I give you a lot of leeway with your comments. So, to use your blunt lingo, the above comment is stupid. This is a church, no one goes to church, strapped, with a weapon, expecting someone to come in shooting. It was also Sunday school with children. What did you want someone to do? Endanger more lives? Details are still unfolding in both cases. Prayers for those dead and injured would be more appropriate. The pastor who lost his own daughter still has to minister to his congregation and does not need to hear about conceal and carry. He needs prayers and sympathy like any grieving father.

"Authorities revealed that a heroic and unidentified citizen in the church “grabbed his rifle and confronted the suspect,” who was armed with a “Ruger AR assault type rifle.” The local citizen pursued the suspect, who ran off the road and crashed and was found deceased in his vehicle. “We don’t know if it was a self inflicted gunshot wound or if he was shot by our local resident who engaged him with gunfire,” authorities said. It was the largest mass shooting in Texas history."

    3. If it was a 501c3 church, they are under the thumb of the gun control government unless they make a civil disobedience stand against such tyrannical control.

    4. Are you done with your myopic "I need my guns, rant?". Did you bother to read any of the comments? You are obsessed with " gotta have my guns." It is because of morons like you that the 2nd amendment is being curtailed and your complete indifference to reality that allows radical liberals to impose restrictions on responsible gun owners.

  2. God made guns. Why shouldn't we have them in church?

    1. For the same reason, the guy who shot all those people today. What guarantee do I have that you are not a mentally deranged, gun toting nut,who is irresponsible? Having a gun and using it in a responsible manner are two different things. If you cannot even take responsibility for your words and be proud to use your name to make a comment, then my trust of you is zero. This guy was an Air Force Veteran, dishonorably charged.

  4. Unarmed citizens are lambs for slaughter in current times. Doesn't matter if a church, a shopping center, walking down the street, a theater,or playing in a park. Predators who chose to kill you know these locations provide almost 99.9% chance of no resistence to their premeditated murder. Texas of all places allows open carry. Texas has CCW permits. This is carry but concealed. One parishioner could have possibly stopped this carnage. But no.
More untainted facts will hopefully be provided (ha) and we'll find out why this antifa athetist was drum out of the military. I want more honest facts, but still stand firm on that this slaughter would have been less if a few of the church members carried.
