"Crew out behind Costco trimming Costco's hedges and dumping copious amounts of debris right next to the new Waterfront Trail."

"He's one of the worker's checking traffic crossing the street to dump the debris next to the new trail so all the bikers and hikers can enjoy the massive pile of escallonia trimmings courtesy of Costco's cheap-ass unlicensed contractor. "

"And the return empty."

Wow I guess Costco doesn't give a shit about this town either. "

"They got Hinkle. And stopped. I'm sure they'll do it after we leave, there's no mistaking the pile."

"Dude's got no contractor's license so I guess we know where Costco stands on hiring unlicensed contractors."

"We'd chewed him out real good. Said he thought he was doing the city a favor by filling in the holes right next to the brand new Coastal Trail. What a joke. What an idiot. Said he's going to clean it up if it bothers us that much. yeah I'll bet it's on Costco now."

(A few people saw this yesterday and mentioned it but only one person sent the photos and information in today)

  2. Law is one thing. Dragging debris across the street to dispose of it on City of Eureka right of way next to a multi million dollar tail that's supposed to be a jewel in Eureka's Crown and possibly draw tourist to the area to view our beautiful Bay is unconscionable. Costco is aware of this and they obviously don't care about it if it's been going on for several days now. Costco used to be beautifully maintained by a licensed contractor and has gone down hill since they've started using fly by nighters.

  3. Ticket slam the dude doing the cleanup! Don't talk about it-do something. This will stop the creep pronto and wake up Costco. If the guy has a work order by Costco, then slam them with a littering ticket as well.
