Why isn't more media looking into moron Moonbeam's veto of bipartisan bill reducing risk of wildfires

(Bay Area News Group)
"A year ago, a bipartisan bill aimed at reducing the risk of wildfires from overhead electrical lines went to Gov. Jerry Brown’s desk.
It was vetoed."
"The author of the measure — passed unanimously by both houses of the Legislature — now says the governor missed out on a chance to tackle one of his state’s longstanding vulnerabilities: massive wildfires endangering residential communities."

"the first 90 minutes Sunday night, firefighters were sent to 10 different spots where problems had been reported with the area’s electrical infrastructure. The crews reported seeing sparking lines and transformers."

Thanks California liberals for voting this idiot in twice. Prop 47, Prop 57, AB 109, vetoing this bill. California's greatest disaster is Moonbeam.  Time to make California great again.

  1. There is NO bipartisan agreement ever in this communist state-the -amm democrats run this state. Who are you kidding??? Let's ask -where has the billions of dollars from the 3 years running for the rural $150 per parcel charges for fire personnel and fire fighting gone? I sure don't see that personnel anywhere in Sonoma,Mendocino prior to the fires. Did Santa Rosa outsource their fire department to CalFire? No one would have foreseen 75+ mph winds slamming a community? The big question is-did PGE maintained a clear canopy/ground area to prevent such a disaster? If so, when and where's the proof? Do the power lines have deflectors to prevent swinging together/contacting/and arching? The Santa Rosa fire station burned down?? Isn't that manned at all times? Who bailed ship and shurked their fire protection duty??????
Too many questions to now ask when the coals are hot.

  3. A fire station burning down doesn't prohibit them from doing their duty, as their duty is everywhere else BUT the firehouse. CalFire fee hasn't gone where it was supposed to, yet everyone in the hills (if they can find the actual owners) are required to pay it. PG&E is having to come to terms where their profit motive as a necessary public utility needs to be curtailed in favor of doing what all their engineers keep telling senior management what needs to be done. Important infrastructure projects are getting slowed or outright tabled (vetoed) in favor of what exactly? Pensions and bullet trains? Property insurance companies must be getting real tired of this old nut's decision maing. ~TMOB

  4. So we should all go shut down our main breakers in protest? 75 mile and hour winds blew the lines together causing arcing, causing a catastrophic fire storm. PG&E and the PUC have been in bed together for year's, dragging they feet at every turn, now this. What giant fine and court settlement will be added to our bill's for the year's to come? No accountability.

  6. When the end goal is to force all rural and urban dwellers into specific cities, it's easy to understand his reasoning.
Have you seen Fema's cruise ships? The stack and pack apartments won't be much larger, and the people will beg for them to be built.
