Trial confirmation for Marci Kitchen is scheduled for October 25. Jury trial is scheduled for November 13.
On October 16, defense subpoenaed records from Oakland Children's Hospital.

Took them long enough. This is a stall tactic. At trial confirmation, if not earlier, they will move for a continuance claiming they have all these records to review, they're hiring another expert, etc etc.
ReplyDeleteI would assume they are going to say the hospital caused the childs preventable death so ms Kitchen is innocent of manslaughter... ? be a good sleaze move.
ReplyDeleteI would imagine that Children's Hospital has a fleet of attorneys that have a bit of experience in matters like this, and would make Marci's 2 attack dogs look like puppies. ~TMOB

ReplyDeleteStall, stall, stall.....blah, blah, blah...... Just prolonging the horrible pain her family and Faith's family having been living since her choice to drive drop dead drunk changed their lives forever. The right thing to do would be to accept her punishment and hold herself accountable for Faith and own daughters deaths. But she has shown nothing but "Catch Me If You Can" attitude since this happened. I along with the entire community hope she rots in a prison cell for the rest of her pathetic life.
