"Due to a fiber cut, a limited number of customers in the Arcata and Garberville areas maybe experiencing issues with their wireless and wireline services."

Service was restored last night for AT & T customers in the Arcata and Garberville areas after a fiber cut yesterday evening.

Last night, AT & T spokesperson Steven Ramirez told me ,"Due to a fiber cut, a limited number of customers in the Arcata and Garberville areas may be experiencing issues with their wireless and wireline services."

"911 service was not impacted by this outage. Technicians are on site and working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue."

I called to complain & the the lady said her computer said the last time my internet had been down was in august, she said her computer didn't say anything about the outage from the fires, when I asked her if she was saying I was lying she said that her computer wasn't lying & she didn't know about me. I went off & she hung up on me!... so over at&t!...

    1. She was right about one thing, why did you bring up the outage being due to the fire. There was no evidence of that. Second, you heard CR was down, heard from who? If it was the LOCO article, again that was their assumption. As for your internet being down, you do have a valid point. But it is not just AT and T. Customer service for cell phones, other conpanies have one customer service line unaware of where outages are because some other company center is handling it. She should not have been rude to you and you can always write or call AT and T and ask to speak to a manager.
