Mark Wheetley's was arraigned for his alleged DUI case from 2017 are scheduled in early resolution court, Courtroom 8, this morning.
Three counts. Not guilty pleas. He has retained Mr. Patrik Griego. Pre-trial on 11/21.
No other media in court.

Why is no one talking about this? A public official with two DUIs and the community is crickets. As evidenced in Marci Kitchen's case, drinking and driving can take someone's life. I'm surprised with how quiet Fortuna has been about this. Mark is a great guy, but it looks like he may need some help. Right now it looks like the the city is enabling him, which in the end only hurts him and his family. Sad.
