Et tu Richard? Is Marks planning to run against Supervisor Bass?

Keep hearing Richard Marks might run for 4th District Supervisor.

On his blog, Richard Marks had this cartoon recently. http://samoasoftball.blogspot.com/2017/08/why-are-dems-so-paranoid-of-progressives.html?m=1

The left  has a selective memory. Their silence and recent support of Marks  shows their complete lack of integrity. Here are some refresher facts.

The rumor mill also included Matthew Owen and Chet Albin, who are not planning to run against Supervisor Virginia Bass.

Heard there was an attempt to recruit Luke Bruner; he is allegedly in San Francisco now.

If you think Marks would not run against Supervisor Bass, maybe you aren't clued in to his Lee Ulansey and Rob McBeth connection.

It is no secret to anyone that Ulansey wants to suport someone he can control and have that person run against Supervisor Bass.

Guess these people recruiting dont have a clue that both Marks and Bruner have attended events and parties at Supervisor Bass' house.

Marks ran against Bonnie Neely and lost. He was paid well to work, twice, on Supervisor Bass's campaign. At that time, the progressive left railed on him and his efforts to "dilute", " stack" the Humboldt Democratic Central Committee.

Then Marks parlayed his political capitol into a consulting gig with California Cannabis Voice Humboldt. He parted ways, when he was not being touted as successful, but also taking credit for the passage of the commercial cannabis ordinance.

Since he has been on the Humboldt Bay Harbor District, no investigative pieces by Ryan Burns? Instead PR and praises by  LOCO. No investigative pieces by NCJ? No calling out by the usual leftie blowhards, self appointed activists online?

Some on the left have no ethics, no integrity and double standards. That is true for some on the right as well but it is those with the left biased media and select activists from the left who think selective facts and reporting is okay.

Marks goes where it is good for him, not the community. Can you trust someone whose beliefs change like the direction of the wind in Eureka?

In Humboldt, loyalty is rare, and alliances change at the drop of the hat. Both people on the left and right will not fund new people for office or anyone they cannot control. And they certainly will not fund anyone who brings you facts. Remember that next time, you hear gossip and smears in the community about to discredit people.

Another example is Greg Dale. He certainly has made the left media and activist favored list. Why? No investigative stories on Coast Seafoods?

  1. Matthew Owen running against his wife—absurd! Cold day in their hell.

Marks is planning to leave the area to be with family, as his wife has quit her job at Blue Lake School.

As the VBass campaign manager, he did acknowlege that if the kid had come out of the basement a week earlier, she very well could have lost. Although things are going better at the abandoned motel now rebuilt, Danco is having problems there, as reported.

    1. Yeah, I have been hearing Marks is leaving for a while. What is stopping his wife from quitting? Heard that too many times to believe it. Just like I heard Lee Ulansey is moving to Hawaii? Both could not leave fast enough. Both play both sides against each other. Richard took the credit for Virginia winning last time when it wasn't his hard work that got her re-elected. She won barely, with the hard work of others. The point of the post is hypocrisy from the local left activists and media. You ignored that completely. Don't see the left going after HumCPR anymore. Wonder why? They sure pick and chose who to attack, don't they? And it is time for those who think they are responsible for winning the 2010 and 2012 election to think why they lost to the left for Eureka City Council seats in the last election and what is at stake with the Board of Supervisors. Arrogant people on both the left and the right, that get in power, stay there and do jack for the average person.
