  1. This is not a case that had a press release issued or made the headlines but it is one of many such cases covered only on this blog. I cover cases I research or have people contact me about because to me, it isn't about high profile cases, the safety and well being of this community matters.

While no charges have been filed yet but I will be following this case to see if it is ultimately charged by the DA or dismissed.

  2. John - The HCSO still has not updated their official website for 'calls for service'. I called the Sheriff's Office main number on 8/1/2017, and as of today the website still has not been updated since 7/26/2017. I am going to call the Sheriff's Office main number again, and maybe email Sheriff Honsal as to this issue.

If the website were current, one could look at it for further details on this, and other crimes in Humboldt County.

  3. John - In my 2nd call in two days to the Sheriff's Office, I spoke with the person responsible for posting the 'calls for service' information. I was told it was a computer network issue, and that the County IT Dept should have it fixed soon.

Plus I was told that a current printed edition is available at the HCSO front desk.

But for those of us that live a distance away, it is difficult to go thru the security to access the facts that should be posted online at the HCSO Official website.

    1. Anon, who clearly did not read my post to trolls. Do you seriously feel the need to stalk me and comment anonymously several times a day? Do you not have a life? Not only are you a creep but clearly obsessed and biased because you disagree with my political views. There is a difference between patting on the back and facts, between stating the obvious when you have moronic people like you that do not understand the difference between this blog or any quality media and the mediocrity you are used to with toiletpost. You have no idea why I posted the first comment, or if it was a response. The fact is, I have covered many cases exclusively and did regularly before other local media. Stop wasting my time, which you don't pay for. Your comments go in the trash bin.
