The first Trinidad Bay Art and Music Festival to be held in August

I have had a concept buried in the back of my mind for over ten years. We are now ready to launch TBAM, Trinidad Bay Art & Music Festival for the Summer of 2017. It is long overdue. The Festival focus is on “regional talent with international connections”, a one degree reach into our radiating musical circles.

The same artists who play and teach in Humboldt also perform worldwide. Musicians like Carol Jacobson, Terrie Baune, John Chernoff and Daniela Mineva will be featured. Clara Lisle (Dengler) returns from London/New York and we are adding a cellist, Peter Kibbe and Marimbist, Nonoka Mizukami from Baltimore. Peter’s father Michael, composer, lives here and we will feature a commissioned world premiere of his newest work. All performers come with impressive credentials and have recently performed in Europe, Japan, Thailand, England, Bulgaria, Russia, India, South America, Canada and throughout the United States. Because of their renown and quality performances, we anticipate a memorable regional Festival.

I found a partner who has all the connections and musical production experience to add to a successful festival. Smaller music festivals are catching on throughout the world as people become more and more enthralled with close-up live performances. This will be a first established between Mendocino and Southern Oregon. Save the dates and be in Trinidad August 25 to 27.
Go to our website TBAMFest.com for more details and to order tickets. We expect to fill every seat. If you would like to be a Founding Sponsor or advertiser, please let me know and I will send more details.
