Criminal proceedings suspended in Kimberly Felder's case; mental competency evaluation ordered

Intervention was held this morning for Kimberly Felder. Her preliminary hearing scheduled for July 3 was vacated. Criminal proceedings have been suspended, for now.

Defense requested a mental competency evaluation. Judge Christopher Wilson signed that order. A hearing to receive Dr. Ramirez's report is scheduled for July 17.

  1. What is wrong with women here in Humboldt.FIRST MAR MARCI KITCHEN KILLS HER DAUGHTER AND HER FRIEND STILL HASN'T SPENT ANY TIME IN JAIL, then this PIECE OF S...ALMOST KILLS HER 11 YR OLD DAUGHTER AND SHE NEEDS A MENTAL EXAMINE WHAT IS WRONG WITH THE JUDICAL SYSTEM. THESE ARE YOUNG CHILDREN WE'RE TALKING ABOUT HERE. I THINK THESE MOTHERS NEED TO BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE FOR THERE ACTIONS better yet lets do unto them as they have done to their children. Way to go Humboldt Co.

  2. It's not Humboldt, it's the law. Personally I'd rather see her in a Funny Farm so there would be no chance of her getting custody of the children. Main thing is, she's in the system and the kids are safe.
In the Kitchen trial, yes it took a long time but if you'd read all the charges that John posted here and the list of witnesses that testified in the hearing then you have to know that kind of work takes time.
